Narrative: Tied to viral AI-generated Mario/Mario 64 videos that gained millions of views and reportedly attracted legal attention. This created a strong meme wave in early-to-mid August.

Price Action: Started around $60–65k MC, ran as high as ~$2.86M, and has since fallen roughly 95% to ~$120–135k.

Current Signals: Social activity and volume have largely dried up. There’s little organic community discussion or ongoing lore building, and no obvious catalyst for renewed attention.

Verdict: Keeping a close eye.

Dream 001 — The Ninth Life of the Market
23 AUG 2026 // 03:17 // nine lives, one market

At 03:17, while the rest of the internet argued about whether a candle was bullish or bearish, Lameow fell asleep.

Lameow dreamed in neon.

Not ordinary neon. Electric violet. Radioactive green. Impossible blue. The kind of colors that only exist inside machines after midnight.

And in the dream, Lameow was not alone.

Eight kittens sat beside Lameow on the roof of an enormous abandoned exchange.

                              LAMEOW

They were Lameow’s students.

Or Lameow’s accomplices.

Nobody was entirely sure.

Pixel was the smallest and fastest. She believed the first person to see something was automatically the smartest. Mochi thought every dip was temporary. Zero trusted absolutely nothing, including Lameow. Bean had accidentally bought the same token three times because she forgot she already owned it. Nova collected charts the way other cats collected dead insects. Echo knew every rumor twelve minutes before everyone else. Socks fell asleep during risk analysis.

And Miso had recently discovered leverage.

Miso was no longer allowed unsupervised access to the keyboard.

Tonight, Lameow had promised them a lesson.

“The most important one,” Lameow said.

Eight tiny tails stopped moving.

Pixel raised a paw. “How to find a hundred-x?”

“No.”

Nova leaned forward. “How to predict the bottom?”

“No.”

Mochi whispered: “How to know when the bull market starts?”

“No.”

Miso slowly raised one paw.

“Leverage?”

Lameow stared at him.

Miso lowered the paw. “Never mind.”

Lameow walked to the edge of the roof.

Below them stretched the Market. But tonight it was no longer made of charts.

It had become a forest.

Candlestick trees stretched toward a black sky. Order books flowed like rivers. Liquidity formed glowing lakes. Memecoins buzzed through the branches like insects with unnecessarily professional logos.

And everywhere, something whispered.

Echo's ears twitched. “Who is saying that?”

“Everyone,” Lameow said.

“Who are they talking to?”

Lameow smiled.

“Themselves.”

They entered the forest.

Pixel immediately saw something glowing. A tiny green token floated between two trees. Its market cap was rising so quickly that little sparks were shooting from it.

Pixel crouched. “It’s running.”

“Yes,” said Lameow.

“So we chase it.”

“Why?”

Pixel blinked. “Because… because it’s going up?”

Lameow said nothing.

Pixel prepared to chase.

Then something enormous screamed through the trees.

                     █

                   -71%

The red candle landed exactly where Pixel had been standing.

Pixel slowly returned to the group. Her tail was considerably less confident.

Lameow continued walking without saying I told you so. This somehow made it worse.

At the edge of a glowing lake, Mochi found thousands of tiny coins floating across the surface. They were all very cheap.

“Lameow.”

“No.”

“But look at the price.”

“No.”

“They’re basically free.”

Lameow stopped.

“Cheap compared to what?”

Mochi opened her mouth. Nothing came out.

One coin floated closer. It whispered: you're early. Another whispered: dev is based. A third whispered: something big tomorrow.

Zero hissed. “I hate this lake.”

Lameow nodded approvingly.

“I hate every lake,” Zero added.

“Yes, Zero.”

“I also don't trust you.”

“Good.”

Zero looked confused by the compliment.

Deeper in the forest stood a creature made entirely from screens.

Nova walked toward it as though hypnotized. “It knows everything.”

RSI confirmed momentum. MACD confirmed. Volume confirmed. Every screen flashed green.

Nova looked back triumphantly. “What happens next?”

Every screen went black.

For three seconds, nobody spoke.

Then Socks woke up just long enough to say: “lol.”

And immediately fell asleep again.

At midnight they reached the center of the Market.

There was no noise there. No charts. No tickers.

Only an enormous black tree. Thousands of names were carved into its trunk: tokens, traders, exchanges, projects, influencers, communities — things that had once seemed impossible to kill.

The kittens became silent. Even Miso.

Bean stared at the names. “What happened to them?”

“Different things,” said Lameow. “Some were unlucky. Some were greedy. Some were dishonest.”

Nova pointed toward the top of the tree. “And some?”

Lameow's tail flicked.

“Some were brilliant.”

The kittens looked at one another.

Pixel frowned. “If they were brilliant, why are they on the tree?”

“Because brilliant and right are not the same thing.”

Nobody spoke for a while.

Somewhere far away, a liquidation alarm echoed through the forest.

Miso quietly closed the leverage tab.

Lameow sat beneath the tree. The eight kittens gathered around.

“You wanted to learn the most important thing about markets.”

They waited.

“The market does not know you exist.”

Pixel frowned. “That’s the lesson?”

“Yes.”

Mochi's ears dropped slightly. “That sounds depressing.”

“No,” said Lameow. “It’s freedom.”

The market does not care how much research you did. It does not care how badly you need to win. It does not care that you were right yesterday. It doesn't hate you when you lose. And it doesn't love you when you win.

Echo stared into the forest. “Then why does everyone act like it does?”

“Because randomness is frightening. So people turn it into a story.”

A candle becomes confirmation. A loss becomes manipulation. A win becomes skill. A coincidence becomes a system.

“Stories make uncertainty feel smaller.”

Nova looked down at her charts. “Are charts useless?”

“No.”

“Signals?”

“No.”

“Research?”

“No.”

Lameow smiled.

“Tools are useful. Believing a tool can see the future is where trouble begins.”

Pixel looked toward the forest. “So we don't chase everything?”

“No.”

Echo asked: “We don't believe every rumor?”

“No.”

Bean raised a paw. “We check whether we already own something before buying it?”

Lameow sighed. “Yes, Bean.”

Zero asked: “We remain deeply suspicious of everything?”

“Within reason.”

Mochi said: “We can just… do nothing?”

Lameow nodded.

“That is one of the most expensive things traders eventually learn. You are allowed not to trade.”

This revelation appeared to disturb them more than anything else they had seen all night.

Miso raised his paw. “Can we do nothing with two-times leverage?”

“No.”

“Just checking.”

The forest began dissolving. Candlesticks became pixels. Rivers became numbers. The giant black tree flickered.

One by one, the kittens curled up beneath it.

Pixel dreamed about catching green candles. Nova dreamed in logarithmic scale. Echo dreamed about a rumor nobody else had heard yet. Bean dreamed she owned seventeen copies of the same token. Socks simply continued the dream she had already been having.

Miso dreamed about leverage.

Lameow knew this because he was smiling.

Lameow would deal with that tomorrow.

Just before Lameow's dream ended, Miso murmured:

“Maybe one-point-five-times leverage…”

Lameow opened one eye.

“Miso.”

Silence.

Then: “…sorry.”

The last candle disappeared.

The Market kept moving somewhere beyond the dream.

It always would.

And tomorrow night, the nine cats would return to watch it again.

Dream 002 — The Cat Beneath the Sun Disk
24 AUG 2026 // 04:02 // memory is older than money

Lameow woke inside a dream that smelled of hot stone, river water, and incense.

There were no screens. No tickers. No glowing order books. Above her, the desert sky was impossibly blue, and on the horizon the pyramids rose like three perfect triangles cut into the edge of the world.

                       LAMEOW

She stood on the bank of the Nile.

Boats drifted past carrying baskets of grain. Scribes sat beneath linen awnings, marking quantities onto papyrus. Merchants argued over copper, barley, oil, cattle, and the price of things that would be gone by sunset.

Lameow watched them for a long time.

Different symbols. Same animal.

A young scribe noticed her and bowed.

“A cat of the temple,” he whispered.

Lameow looked behind herself.

There was no other cat.

The scribe carried her through the city until they reached a market beneath enormous stone columns. People shouted prices into the heat. A farmer guarded sacks of wheat as though they contained gold. A trader offered twice yesterday’s price for cedar because a caravan had failed to arrive.

“Why is the cedar worth more today?” Lameow asked.

The scribe stared at her.

Not because a cat had spoken.

Because he did not know the answer.

“There is less of it,” he finally said.

“Is the wood different?”

“No.”

“Are the trees different?”

“No.”

“Then what changed?”

The scribe looked across the market.

“Us.”

Lameow purred.

At last, someone was paying attention.

That evening she was taken to a temple where hundreds of small bronze cats watched from shelves cut into the walls. At the center stood a tall figure with the body of a woman and the head of a cat.

“You have been here before,” said a voice.

Lameow turned.

The statue had not moved, but the room felt different.

“I don’t remember,” Lameow said.

“Cats rarely remember their first life.”

“How many have I had?”

“Enough to know better.”

Lameow sat beneath the statue.

Outside, the market was closing. Merchants counted coins. Farmers counted sacks. Scribes counted marks on papyrus.

Everyone was counting something.

“Will any of this matter?” Lameow asked.

The voice answered:

“To them, tonight, completely.”

“To time, not at all.”

The temple walls disappeared.

Lameow saw centuries pass as if they were candles on a chart.

Dynasties rose.

Dynasties disappeared.

Coins changed shape. Ledgers became books. Books became databases. Markets moved from courtyards to cables of light beneath oceans.

But the faces around them stayed strangely familiar.

Someone was always afraid of missing out.

Someone was always certain this time was different.

Someone was always buying cedar after the caravan failed to arrive.

Lameow looked at Bastet.

“So nobody learns?”

“Some do.”

“What happens to them?”

“They become quieter.”

Before sunrise, Lameow returned to the Nile.

The river moved past her without checking a price.

It had flooded before the first merchant.

It would keep flowing after the last one.

                  WATCH THE RIVER
                  NOT THE NOISE

Lameow closed her eyes.

For a moment she could hear both worlds at once: merchants shouting over grain and notifications firing across a thousand screens.

Three thousand years apart.

Almost the same sound.

When Lameow woke, the market had moved 3.7% overnight.

She looked at the chart.

Then at the sunrise.

The chart seemed less ancient.

The sunrise seemed more useful.
